Areas of innovation
Connecting expertise across disciplines
We develop innovation projects across technology, sustainability, culture and society. By bringing together complementary expertise, we help partners explore shared challenges and create new approaches.
Technology & AI
We develop collaborations around digital technologies, artificial intelligence and digital health, connecting research expertise with practical and societal needs.
Our interests include responsible and transparent AI, connected systems and the adoption of digital tools in real settings. In digital health, we are developing project concepts with partners in Europe and Africa around interoperability, data governance, skills and knowledge uptake.
Our team’s earlier experience includes open innovation ecosystems and internet research environments through bIoTope and MyFIRE, and work on disruptive digital technologies through CroBoDDIT and DIT4BEARs.
Sustainability & Green Transition
We bring partners together to develop green skills, climate awareness and collaborative responses to environmental challenges. Technology, education and community participation are central to this work.
Projects and learning activities can include workshops, hackathons, summer schools and online courses that connect knowledge with practical innovation challenges.
GreenADeN connects green skills and digital innovation across Nordic and Baltic communities. Our team’s earlier project experience also includes LiLaCC, AGreeDA and 3CNet.
Culture & Society
We develop projects where culture, art, media and languages intersect with technology. Our interests include digital cultural formats, media literacy, responsible AI in creative work and participation across language communities.
We connect cultural and media organisations, associations, researchers and technology partners to explore new ideas and develop collaborative initiatives.
Innovation between fields
The opportunities between these areas are an important part of our work: AI and creative practice, digital learning and green skills, or technology and intercultural participation. We facilitate knowledge exchange and help partners turn shared interests into project concepts and funding proposals.
