Intercultural collaboration and participation
We develop projects that connect people and organisations across languages and cultural backgrounds. Through creative activities, media and technology, we explore new ways to support cultural participation, mutual learning and collaboration.
Our initiatives aim to support integration in Finland by creating opportunities for language learning, community participation and encounters across language communities. We bring newcomers and established communities together to build connections and a sense of belonging.
This includes initiatives that connect Swedish-speaking communities in Finland with people from other language backgrounds, creating opportunities to participate in Finland-Swedish cultural and community life.
Culture, media and digital innovation
We develop project concepts that connect creative practice with digital tools and new ways of reaching audiences. Areas of interest include film and digital cultural content, media education, and the responsible use of AI in creative work and communication.
By connecting cultural and media expertise with technology partners, we support collaboration around practical questions: how new tools can serve creative work, how audiences can participate, and how innovation can be used fairly and transparently.
Develop a project with us
We work with associations, cultural and media organisations, universities, schools and companies to shape ideas, connect partners and develop funding proposals. Projects can include pilots, workshops, learning activities, events and digital formats, with methods and resources designed for reuse where appropriate.
We work in Finnish, Swedish and English, in Finland and internationally. Online and hybrid approaches can help collaborations reach participants across locations.
